Description
The transhuman elite live for centuries, having conquered the normal aging process through genetic engineering, cybernetic augmentation, and more esoteric processes unknown to the lower castes. While theoretically immortal, they are at risk from accidents, violent crime, acts of war, and environmental dangers. None of these threats are as deadly as the ennui that comes to them after many human lifetimes. Some indulge in reckless acts that culminate in self-destruction; others try to lose themselves in ever more bizarre diversions. This sybarite's extravagant outfit keeps her mind and body in a permanent state of euphoria. As her dependence on it grows, it will gradually become a beautiful sarcophagus.Related content

an excellent drawing of such an epic cyberhuman elite, under the addiction of ''euphoria'' , which will end up in her own demise as it seems.
can you show us more cases/categories of transhuman elites with or without their ennui's.....?
i love how clean and detailed this picture looks, and strangely, her clean victorian-age-like, skin, is a big contrast to the scary skin textures that you usually do.Β
also her monocle, and her detached/annoyed face expression is epic.
you should totally include this image and many more, as a ''list of inhabitants'' comic book, it would be awesome.

For some reason Id love to see you do a small book in the style of a childrens book,(with text and pictures on every page)though for adults.Not a comic book if you know what I mean.

I used a different technique for this one (scanned a line drawing, added tone in photoshop, then added colour using a new Soft Light layer). It took longer but gave the work a much smoother finish. The usual dirt and grime wouldn't have worked for this character.
I've thought about putting a book together. The adult picture book would work, but some of my friends want a graphic novel. They've both got their pros and cons. Not yet sure which way I'll go.
