Hello, friend, and Happy New Year! I'm here for this year's Critmas , spreading happiness through constructive, positive commenting! I found your piece, well, because you found mine! Then I looked through your gallery and really loved your art, so I decided to review it.
The first thing that caught my eye here was the style of your piece. It's very unique! Cartoony, messy; what's not to like? Normally having the eyes so far apart makes the characters look odd, but you're able to pull it off here so well and create really appealing characters. And I like her overall pose -- it's simple, but gives us a little insight to how this character works (artists, am I right?).
One of the few pieces of criticism I can offer is that the hands are pretty consistently either not shown are are so sloppy that it's difficult to tell how many fingers your characters have. In this piece, the flaws of the hands are more apparent (her left hand, for instance, looks like it has five fingers on one side and a thumb on the other). They're not terrible, but they're not particularly well drawn, either. Though I'm sure that if you spent a little extra time on it, you could probably get the hands just fine.
The only other thing I can really mention for this piece is that her hair doesn't fall off to the side as she cocks her head. It sorta follows the movement of her neck, which gives it a stiff look. This is a really minor nitpick because I'm a dick, though.
In spite of the two things I mentioned, I really do love this piece. It's charming, it's simple, and the style just gets me, man. So unique, so cute, and I'm glad I was able to stumble across your gallery! I'll be watching you for sure!

Thank you, for your kind words. I feel the same way about all you mentioned as well (and a little more involving the shading in the color layers, and a few other things). I'm glad you like it, in truth, it was just a doodle with Bic pen on a piece of scrap paper during a few minutes of free time at work scanned into Photoshop. I never intended to have this be anything but a fun little drawing, yet it seems to be a very popular.
