Orchid from Killer Instinct.Orchid was one of my favourite characters in the original KI, but her new design and moveset in KI2 elevated her to an absolute all time favourite. Still recovering from the disappointment of her design in the latest game...

Great work! I really dig Orchid's pose in this picture. While I haven't played Killer Instinct, I've followed it enough to know exactly what you're talking about, what with her redesign in the newest version (they shouldn't have fixed what wasn't broken). And I do agree that her costume in KI2 is the best

そうなんだ！日本未発売でしたがニンテンドーとレアのコラボで、アーケードにもスーファミにも欧米の方は大人気でした。そしてXboxOneの再にマイクロソフトさんはアメリカの格ゲーメーカーとコラボしてキラーインスティンクトを復活して新作を出した。ついに日本発売！・・・XboxOne限定だけどね（笑）
早いというけど、もっと早くやるつもりだったよ！ww もうこのペースだとハロウィンの記念に描くのは間に合わないなぁ･･

Yeah, i know the feeling, they covered her up too much in the reboot. I guess they got scared of feminist backlash like Anita Sarkessian complaining that she is too sexy. But you did a fine job on her design! <3

I think it's more that the whole guerilla soldier kinda deal just felt like a departure from the original character... there are aspects of KI3 Orchid I really like a lot, but she ended up feeling like almost a different character altogether. But aside from that it was certainly disappointing to see her KI2 thong leotard featured in the game's artbook, but then her retro costume ended up being a weird mix of KI1 and KI2 that wasn't accurate to either of them.
