The famous Consolidated B-24 bomber, was veeb'd, without Prof. Anton Veeblefitzer's assistance, into the famous Consolidated Patrol Bomber, PB4Y "Privateer" , which the United States Navy used to mop up what was left of the Imperial Japanese Navy, in that last year of WW2.
Now! . . . .that's in "our" kind'a dull, a bit, universe. You Know!.
However!!!
In Professor Anton Veeblefitzer's really exciting universe, good ol' PAV took the Privateer and tossed the four radial propeller engines, and replaced them with six Veeblefitzer Ve-J2A turbojets, which were oversize copies of classic German Jumo jet engines. However, these six big engines burned fuel like crazy!
PAV and his team of Post-Graduate Science-Delinquents, turned the bomb bay into a huge fuel tank! The big cells were self-sealing and automatic fire extinguishers were strategically placed, and it took a lot of direct enemy cannon hits to burst those tanks and create a really cool, spectacular explosion, for the movie film makers, who always accompanied these missions (which always provoked the thought that Hollywood was, somehow, responsible for World War Two (!!!) in This particular, and, as usual, peculiar Veeblefitzer Alternative Universe!)
And stuffed a bunch of 20mm Veeb' motor driven auto-cannon, with 400 rpg(!), into extra turrets.
And the fuselage and wings, etc., were "stretched" to accommodate all the extra mass.
The new Consolidated-Veeblefitzer Patrol Gun Ship One (CVPGS-1), pictured, was deployed to assault enemy fighters!
The crew were protected with sheet armor plate surrounding their stations, plus flak vests and helmets.
Roaring into a squadron of Imperial Mongolian Navy fighters, the "Super Privateer", unleashes its massive firepower, slaughtering any enemy that comes within their cannon range.
