I support the re-instatement of Jark, the co-founder of deviantART.
This wallpaper [1280x960] is my contribution to support the yellow alien cause, to help Jark back get what he rightfully deserves. If you guys don't know what I'm talking about, please visit: [link] It's a mix of text art [says "$Jark" if you haven't noticed] and a collection of quotes that pertain to the situation, in my opinion.
Please feel free to comment about this and discuss what's happening right now. If you feel sympathetic to the yellow alien cause, please tell °jark , `bookdiva , or °matteo ; they are going through a rough time right now and need all the support they can get to petition the current dA "staff". If you find that you are upset over jark's dismissal, please note $spyed and ask for the reasoning behind it.

Oh no you don't have to resize it. You really can't read it if it's any smaller. I set it on my desk top and it was hard to read, so I kinda doubt it'll be any better if you resized it.

Ah, mind reading my journal entry? As for what *exactly* happened to him, no one but those directly involved know the total truth of the matter...the rest of us deviants will have to wait and find out. But I'm firmly for the yellow alien cause and I think Jark was wronged...

Like I said in my journal, I'm seriously thinking about deleting off the stuff in my account...I'm currently checking out YNA and Sheezyart as alternative art sites to post on [for the record, YNA seems to be way too strict and I don't think it suits me]. I love the idea of dA and I made a lot of friends [like you] on this site. But the administration that's running it now seems to have a lack of morals and conscience...that's not what I'm about, so my integrity says that I have to do what is right and stand by the people who came up with the idea of a devious art community. I have a newfound admiration for you, now that this mess has brought our community together. Rock on, fellow yellow alien!

I agree that it hasn't gotten that bad and I'm not going to take drastic action until at least after dA's 5th b-day this August, but I am hedging my bets and preparing to move if I need to. Sheezyart looks like a baby dA to me, before all this hype. I'll have to look into it s'more.
I hope that this turn of events will unify more than disrupt and that jark does get his rightful dues. Or at least more of the story comes out so that people know what the hell we are all talking about. But I remain a steadfast deviant thus far, we'll have to see what develops. Yay for the yellow aliens, though...

I've taken a look at Sheezy, and I never thought it looked that great. But that's probably where I'll go if it gets too bad.

I'm speculating that jark has something legally binding him, like a big corporate gag order, something to that effect. Sheezy is like 1/1000th the size of dA...but it looks promising, minus the server crashes.
I've told most of my friends about dA and I've met awesome people on it. I won't ever fully give up on it, but I won't support something that goes against who I am. I'll comment on friend's sites and stuff, but probably won't load more deviations. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. Stay optimistic and keep fighting, I suppose. More power to us [and jark].

Yeah, I've heard that everyone in the know is on a non-disclosure agreement. Not sure how true it is, though. And I think I'll take a closer look at Sheezy in the near future.
As long as we keep the community part alive by commenting and... forum-whoring, I suppose... we're doing a good thing. So I say, fight the good fight.

Thanks! It wasn't as executed as well as it could've been...but after trying to resize font over and over again for 6 hours, you sort of get tired and the original inspiration dies down a bit. Quotes were the hardest thing to put in, since I typed most of them by hand. [I have a large number in my quote book that are handwritten]. Thanks for commenting and faving, it means a lot to me. Rargh and support the yellow alien cause. Take care.
