I like the square composition, but perhaps consider a tighter crop. The flowers are the object of interest and the dark space on the left is really just background. Currently the balance is toward the darkness, because there are patches within the flowers. If you cropped it to a square with 2/3 the flowers and 1/3 the dark back, I believe it would be a more pleasing composition.
