I must say that I've always been amazed by the beauty that a thunderstorm creates, and I also grew up near the ocean. These two elements together really call home for me. It's a wonderful piece. Great work.

Good thunderstorms are hard to find. The image was shot on Fuji transparency at 30 seconds exposure hence the slight shift in colour due to reciprocity failure of the emulsion. The colour was then slightly intensified in Photoshop.
