Description I was very happy to find the stock account of =eli-stock Her pictures are very good to use. But there was one particular picture that caught my attention. And it was that picture that became the main character for 'How seasons walk'.

'How seasons walk' is related to an older artwork of mine that listens to the title 'Time without seasons' [link] This is the first time that I created a landscape. I thought that it would fit better with the 'nature theme'. I tried to make a character that would be part of the landscape, but at the same time it had to stand out against the rest

This artwork is created with brushes only. That means (beside the use of the girl her picture) no use of other stock. Her hair for example are brushes that are made from scratch. They are stamped by using a combination of Screen, Soft light and Luminance. The Luminance layer was done to achieve some extra colour. Her dress is made of a lot of layers with brushes also inspired by the nature theme. In this case petals, little flowers etc etc. All made from scratch. The roots that are visible on her left and right side are brushes that were created from a piece of fabric that was 'folded' by me. Because her hands weren't that visible on the original stockpicture, I had to combine it a little bit with a second picture from the same shoot.

Because it's autumn now, I thought it would be funny to create a character that loses her hair (or leafs ). And (as most of my other artworks) the overall look had to be like an oilpainting with hints of the theater world and the baroque area.

Thanks for viewing.

Thank you for your comment and for faving. I really appreciate it I didn't knew who Varo and Carrington were. So after I read your comment I did a search on Google. And after seeing their artworks and style I can only say that I'm truly honoured that my work reminds you of them Thanks again

Hey thanks Carole I like those petals to. I placed them on her dress to 'repeat' the nature theme. I'm glad that you like them. Thanks again and take care

Very interesting work. Not as cliche as most seasonal themed fantasy art I've seen. Almost reminds me of something Brian Froud might do in some ways, but is still unlike anything I have seen in the past. Excellent work.
