Description
Final version of this. Thanks to all those who gave suggestions, esp ~ kiffy for the contribution she gaveFixed the sky, the fuzzyness of the grass-sand texture and added a slight lense flare. Changed the layout style from landscape to portrait and added a small line of wet sand

its all great apart from the surf of the water. .the line is too white and straight... it doesnt look natural
also the wet sand should fade out a bit rather than just stop dead.. and perheaps should go up the beach a little more..
apart from that this is truley amazing! great work

you have so many comments on this, so im not sure if this was mentioned before or not:
the dark sky cannot shine so brightly and reveal the surface below the water so clearly. also, the blue in the water is an unnatural color and looks like blue food coloring spreading through the water rather than a shadow. this is due to the sharp phase between the blue and clear water. the sand, too, is bright.
i see that the "moon" is bright, but if the source of light is so bright it would make the sky lighter. either that or there would be no atmosphere hence no clouds.
if you neglect these techinicalities, as i'm sure is necessary because art isn't science, this is absolutely magnificent.

Whoah...I don't need ot say any more on this...but I will say that for the rest of my life I'm going to try and turn this into a photo...moonlight on a tropical beach with that lighting a the fore...I wonder if it's even phsyically possible?

The water is ass-kicking, the sky is jaw-dropping, and the overall scene is eye-popping. Wow, that went together nicely.
The little underwater seaweed detail just tops this piece off. Me jealous.

I LOVE the bottom half of this pic, it's simply amazing, the water and all, li'l waves. It's great! but the top half, in MY mind, is a bit less perfect. I would have added a "little" yellow tone to the sun, to make it look a li'l bit warmer, cauz the sun isn't completely white. and I would have done the sky lighter, cauz it looks so dark like that, it looks nice as it is, but I think it just doesn't fit with the rest. The clouds are amazing and so are the moutains.
These were just my suggestions, hope you don't hate me! , great work anyway.

maybe u should add sum betta clouds so it'll look more natural with the shades 'n also teh change from clear water to dark blue a lil longer 'n a water effect of wet sand a lil bit more visible 'n the waves to go with it. try it make sum try pics 'n add em. (im not a pro but i see what can be improved. only i cant when it comes to my work. outside help is always welcome, thats why i try to show u things that u can improve or maybe let it look kewler) oh yeah btw sum trees try to make sum trees i know its hard but try it

absolute awesome piece of work, seems that these Ter renders which are being produced at the moment are just getting better and better. And this is no exception, the water and shorleine is very well done and the distant terrain perfect.

Damn devwatch - you note about portrait didn't click this was waiting, I saw it elsewhere.
You excelled for sure. The water is excellent as is the lighting across the scene. Top marks there for you. Lens flare = :-/ The camera angle across the scene really makes the realism aspect jump out - as do the colours.
I see a few things here which could be adjusted in TG to enhace it a tad more, but hey, why spoil the moment.
Way to go.
Almost for the efforts alone I'm adding this to my favs - but its the massive leap forward in your understanding of TG to produce this gets it I think.
Be warned, I'll be getting pickier on your future works if this sort of quality gets reproduced

this is great.
the surface map is terrific, wonderful grass texture you have here.
the sky works very well, and lights the scene in a very interesting way.
The water looks fab, and the lens flare, well,, I actually think it works well here, and I usually don't think that's true
the sun might be a tad bright and big, but that could just be personal oppinion.
It's pretty though. . .I would think about maybe lowering the max slope on the grass though. . .could add a little realism. . .but might also lose som of this fantastic coloring you've got
