Description So this is an acrylic polymer lift that is wrapped around and glued to an original Nintendo cartridge. So the painting is around 4X5 inches in real life and contains three separate layers glued to each other. The white on the top left is some polymer that hasn't fully dried yet but since it will probably take another week or two to dry I just decided to scan it up.

Anyway, I've been thinking about doing some more of these to sell (this one was a gift) or possibly taking personal commissions. Something like this would probably cost at least $125-$150 so I definitely have to consider if people would be willing to pay that much.

Can you still play the game?

No, in order to get this to dry in under a month it was heated to a pretty hot temperature, hot enough to screw up the game I'm sure. Not only that but the polymer skin is pretty thick and I can't image that the cartridge would be able to fit into the machine now.

Haha well at least it looks awesome, and you can use any old nintendo game as a canvas, not just mario

wow, that's pretty cool about the Nintendo cart. I'd love to see like a step by step process of what you do to create some of your art, it's really interesting to look at.

I've just started on another, I will probably take some pictures of the process and throw something together.
