Description As ancient as this long forgotten treasure may be, a distant memory remained of this old homestead in the back of my father's mind. As we came up to the woods I knew this was going to be quite the adventure. Battling thorns and brush with only a tripod and DSLR in my hand, we struggled our way onto the cabin. Finally, in the midst of the trees, our eyes came upon this hidden treasure. There it was, standing, but overcome by the elements. It was an absolute honor to be the only photographer to ever photograph this cabin, and to even be able to see such a beautiful piece of ancient architecture.

It aged beautifully. The contrast of the living trees beside/behind and the warped grains twisting in the old wood is gorgeous. CuddlefishΒ  is havin a one man wrong party... it is framed perfectly and the lines are welcome to this shindig.

Beautiful photo My Friend! I think this is the best architecture photo I have ever seen! Wonderfully well done. Cuddos goes to the photographer that is you by the way for stumbling upon such a beautiful work of art and photography. I am glad I have found such a wonderful photographer, such as yourself. Keep up the good work, Friend. I wish you well, many journeys, safe travels, and best wishes, and also lots of love.

Not sure why, but truly capturing the end of the life of an old structure like this has always appealed to me. Too many things (perhaps people as well) are just discarded when age begins to break them down. Their years of usefulness are often forgotten. This photo is beautifully done. Thank you
