J.J.

Nice! My only criticism is that it wasn't the Enterprise A that Kirk was commanding in that film, was just the Enterprise, haha

In the movie "Genisis" (AKA) "Wrath of KAHN",kirk took command from the green CO and proceed to take on "HAHN"... when he discovered it was "KAHN", when he went to the planet he was commanding 1701-A. !!"""" Best possible speed to "GENISIS" Mr. SULU"!! Spock wasn't in the opening of the ship.. He was on "Vulcan" going through the "KOLANAR".. Spock came to 1701-A after he was brought back into the STAR FLEET. And 1701-A was destroyed in the movie.. And this seen in when they,(KAHN) & Kirk were in in the "MUTARA" Nebula..... prior to the "Genisis" wave being started... SPOCK died @ the end of this encounter.. Remember when he (spock) realigned the dimithium crystal's... HA HA HA HA

1701-A didn't enter service until the end of The Voyage Home, therefore it wasn't the ship that got destroyed in Search for Spock, which makes your argument pretty, oh, what's the word... Well, either way, I think you need to re-check your film history, dude.

How exactly does two people dancing at a wedding in 1974 help your argument that 1701-A was in the first three films? Yeah, 1701-A and Excelsior were in the same movie, The Undiscovered Country. And we saw both ships in spacedock at the end of The Voyage Home, but in the first three films, 1701-A hadn't even been brought into service as 1701-A. They never referred to the Enterprise as 1701-A when it was refitted for the first film, nor did it carry the 1701-A registration in Wrath of Khan, nor did it carry the 1701-A registration in Search for Spock. Why would they refit the ship and name it 1701-A, destroy it, and then build a new one with the 1701-A registration? Try actually re-watching the films, and this time pay close attention to the registration on the hull plating.
One more thing, try to calm down in your responses. You're typing them as if you've no idea what you're doing, and it kind of makes you look a bit childish

I got the drafts of the movies before they came out.. when one was in production,,, the public was seeing one in the theaters. That's how I got the info that I did.. This all stopped after his (Gene's) death in '91.

I agree. the Constitution Refit MkII (a.k.a the NCC-1701-A) wasn't brought in until after the USS Yorktown was brought in, refurbished and renamed to USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A between kirks court Marshall and his regaining command. the last time we ever saw the A model was at the end of Undiscovered Country. the 1701 refit was the one that held the screen from Motion Picture all the way up to Search for Spock. So this ship never saw battle in the mutara nebula. if it did there would have been more problems with the ship since the Yorktown(predecessor name) had a somewhat crappy crew and captain.
