I love this. If I was a makeup artist, I'd probably have picked green or blue eyes for this look, but brown eyes? It's brilliant. Fits the look perfectly!

This was a spur of the moment thing. It was done on a day when I had 2 models (Masubi and Alice) who had VERY similar faces but totally different colourings (Hair, eyes etc) so I played around with this before I did the Red vs Black stuff x

Ah. I've always wanted to do a shoot with another model with similar makeup as me on, but haven't had the chance yet! I know that "spur of the moment"-thing well, and I'd say that's when I work the best, myself. Haha! Don't know about you, though! I liked that black and red makeup you mentioned too! Awesome!

I can over-plan and sometimes that spoils things but even with this image as it was spur of the moment I look back and wish I'd developed the idea more so I guess when I plan stuff I'm happier but doing something on the spot is pretty fun too! x

Yeah, I absolutely agree with you. Although it's kind of hard to do "on the spot"-jobs in the model industry, at times. Posing and that, I mean. Most of the time I find myself overworking that stuff, in fear of seeming dull or lifeless. Lol! x

yea a little. it was more about exploring the contrast between dark and light. both models looked VERY similar, Masubi has brown eyes n white hair and alice has blue eyes and black hair so they are like copies but opposites from each other so I wanted to play on that to see how it would look. was more of an experiment than anything xx
