Here is the next enstallment of Pocket monsters Evolution.Here is Mudkip the water starter. I think some people who try to make pokemon look real stray too far from the original, i tried to keep with the overall look.

I think you did an excellent job in making them realistic while making them still very greatly resemble the originals. And unlike most other 'realistic' takes on Pokemon I've seen; the cute ones remain cute; but rather than cartoonish; they're cute in the way a real animal would be. Very nicely done.

thankyou, thats what i was going for. I was fed up of seeing alien like pokemon claiming they were real, after all pokemon wre based of real animals in the first place

An interesting design this one. I'm a little puzzled what Mudkip is supposed to resemble in this one. It looks like a cross between a frog and a prehistoric animal.

I agree with you, when you say they stray a bit too far.. Sometimes, they become unrecognizable. This guy, it's easy to tell who he is at once, and he's still really realistic. : D
