Description
The 8 Base Elementals one would see in Guicheng, a Guicheng Elemental is different from a normal one; hailing from another reality altogether, these friendly creatures embodiment the 8 basic elements, as well as evolve with age, going from Stage 1 (pictured above) to 2 and then to 3, however older elementals are actually rarer to find, and if one were to find a Stage 4...well that's the same as finding an actual flying pig.

Fire
These elementals, representing all things fire, lava and anything similar, are typically hot-headed and very bold, and true to appearances they are also very hot to the touch, grabbing them directly is strictly not recommended.

Evolutions known; Magma (Stage 2), Lava (Stage 3), Plasma (Stage 2)

Water
Intelligent and Collected, these bubble-shaped elementals represent the cooler side of water, using their intellect to keep the others organized.

Evolutions known; Ice (Stage 2), Ocean (Stage 2), Abyss (Stage 3)

Earth
Stoic and Impossible to move when they put in the effort, Earth elementals are really tough and even feel like actual rocks when held, a lot of them also have the weird habit of rolling around too.

Evolutions known; Crystal (Stage 2), Geode (Stage 3), Mountain (Stage 2)

Air
These stranger variants of elementals are actually typically care-free and let the wind guide them, which doesn't really help it when their tentacles get caught on one of their kin, but are also really easy-going.

Light
The most helpful and benevolent of the base elementals, Light ones are typically trying to help anyone that looks like they're struggling, though they also get a bit disappointed when someone gets scared of them with their sun-like appearance.

Evolutions known; Chi (Stage 2), Lunar (Stage 2), Solar (Stage 2)

Dark
Solitary and typically lonely, Dark elementals aren't the most sociable but even they don't like to be alone for so long, and contrary to rumors they are actually not evil, just misunderstood.

Evolutions known; Poison (Stage 2), Shadow (Stage 2), Eclipse (Stage 2)

Nature
These ones are the only base ones with proper hands, and their appearances no doubt tell that they are the embodiments of all things natural; plants, animals, anything with life, this makes them fiercely protective like a mother bear and her cub.

Evolutions known; Beast (Stage 2), Plant (Stage 2), Chaos (Stage 4)

Metal
The stark opposite of Nature elementals, Metal elementals embody all things inorganic and man-made, whether technology, science or even magic, these natural leaders also have the odd habit of stacking themselves like building blocks, and likewise enjoy it when others stack them too.
