Description This is GhostLite my new Memorian colt. Little does he know what I have in store for him....mwahahahahah

Anyway...Story time! XD

GhostLite tagged along behind his family as they walked along the beach. His palomino sister played in the surf but the little black colt was too busy eyeing the bulging storm cloud that seemed to be racing towards them. "We should leave the beach." He said suddenly. His mother laughed and walked over to him. "I thought you loved the beach." His mother said in her soft voice, she wasn't taking him seriously. "But those clouds, they are coming too fast." Ghost tried to explain why something felt so wrong to him, he could sense something. It sent a shiver down his spine as the clouds rolled closer. His parents didn't listen to him, he was only a few months old anyway. Ghost stamped his little feathered hoof in the sand to warn them, his skin prickled as a bitterly cold wind sprang up out of nowhere. Then the storm hit.

GhostLite tried to get to his mother but sand and spray flew about, nearly blinding the colt. A bone rattling roar sounded above from the storm as heavy rain ripped the clouds open. Lightning flashed every few seconds followed by great peals of thunder. But even worse was the unnatural cold and a chuckle that seemed to be carried all about on the wind. Ghost tried to head inland but losing all sense of direction he found himself at the edge of the pounding white waves. Before he could flee a massive wave rose above him and came crashing down. The little colt was knocked off his feet and pulled underwater to be churned about in the angry current.
How Ghost made it back to shore he wasn't sure, he was only half conscious. On shaky legs he stumbled away from the water toward the rising grassy slopes overlooking the beach. He called out to his family but the howling wind swept his cries away. Now as he struggled up the gentle incline he was certain the laughing on the wind was not part of the storm. It sounded all around him, making him want the curl up and hide. Once Ghost reached the grassy over look he tried to peer through the storm for any glimpses of his family. Little known to him was that he had been washed several miles down the beach

With the wind whipping the grass around him GhostLite cried out for his family again. Tears ran down his cheeks as the storm offered no answer. The small colt stood shaking from the wind and unnatural cold. He had never been this lost and alone in his life. "Please help me." He whispered knowing none but himself could hear in the tumult. That was when little Ghost noticed a greenish light slowly advancing toward him. It moved parallel to the beach along the grassy hill line where the colt now stood. Ghost wanted to run, his instincts told him to run from the unknown. But something deeper told him to stay if he wanted to survive. Through the rain the green light looked like a large half circle moving over the ground. In a flicker of lightning Ghost saw a dark figure, a very tall figure walking serenely in the center of the glowing light. The dark mysterious horse advanced and the green light passed over the colt who was frozen in place. Suddenly Ghost realized two things, he could no longer  feel the awful storm and hear it only dimly, second was that the greenish light he had seen was actually a force field. The green bubble shielded the dark figure and the colt from the pouring rain. The other horse towered above the small black colt with the turquoise markings. Two orange eyes regarded Ghost. They were no cruel, nor angry yet still they were fierce with a underlying strength. They were the strangest eyes the colt had ever seen, kind and sad, but most of all weary beyond all sense of the word.

"You." The stallion said as if he had expected to find the shaking colt all along. "Why where you crying, son?" The magnificent stallion asked. His voice was deep and had a hint of an accent Ghost had never heard before. The colt felt warm enough to talk with out stuttering, though it was still cold under the force field and their breaths hung in the air. "I've lost my family in the storm." He said in a small voice. "Do not look for them. It is time you stood up on your own feet." The stallion said. Ghost caught glimpses of the stallion's features in the brief flashes of lightning. The tall horse was grey and his coat was criss-crossed with scares. It was hard to tell in the uncertain light but the colt thought he saw a pentagram carved into the stallion's muscular shoulder. Through his thick mane Ghost caught sight of a bag tied around his neck. "Who...who are you?" The back colt asked.

The grey stallion sighed. "I am Gahalt, the twelfth hunter. And who are you?" As Gahalt spoke the colt realized how old and worn he was. "I am GhostLite." He replied, now that the stallion had a name he seemed less dangerous but no less powerful. Gahalt took a one step toward the colt and covered the distance between them. His amber eyes looked into the colt's blue-green ones. "GhostLite, how fitting. You shall be the next in line. I am old and my title of hunter must pass to a younger." As the stallion spoke Ghost realized what Gahalt was saying. "Are you afraid?" Gahalt's question seemed almost like a challenge. Ghost rose to meet it. "Not of you. But of whatever is in the storm, yes." Gahalt chuckled and warm sound. "Honesty will get you far and courage even further. Now take this and old open it when you are very far from here." The old stallion instructed as he slid the bag from around his neck and placed it around the colt's. The cord and bag almost touched the ground on Ghost and he felt the a little metal charm tied to the cord. Gahalt's eyes lingered on the charm. "May she protect you as she always did me." He said though the colt didn't understand why he said this. Before he could ask a deafening roar sounded from outside the green glowing barrier. Ghost shrank back but Gahalt stood unmoving. He looked out towards the foaming sea and there was great sadness in his eyes.

"My time has come. And you have your whole life ahead, though I am sorry for the burden I have placed on you. Just promise me you will always act with honor and never be cruel." Now Gahalt's voice just sounded very weary. "I will." Ghost said in almost a whisper. He was crying though he did not know why. Gahalt leaned down and nuzzled the colt's forhead. "You have my blessing. Now go and don't look back." The grey stallion said. With a toss of the head the green shield between them and the storm vanished and the voice and rain came pouring down on the little colt. Gahalt turned and began walking down to the surf. He looked back at the colt. "Run!" He commanded. But Ghost stood transfixed as something very dark detached it self from the storm. It gathered into a dark mass before the grey stallion who now looked very small. All Ghost could make of the terrible being was several long tentacles. It screamed at the lone stallion who stood unflinching on the sand.

Then in a blur of black and grey the two impossible beings attacked. No matter how fast old Gahalt was the dark creature was so much faster. There was only one outcome to this battle. With a swipe of its tentacle Gahalt was knocked to the sand. Then picked up and slammed into the ground several times. "No!" Ghost screamed his voice lost in the storm, and his tears lost in the rain. Gahalt's broken body was flung to the sand, his glowing amber eye now dim and glazed. The dark entity laughed and cruel and violent laugh. In horror GhostLite ran as fast and as far as he could. Leaving the unknown dark creature and the body of a weary warrior on the beach.

Woah this story is awesome! And the drawing is amazing too^^
Just one little thing: a simple shaded fullbody will give your horse only 4 fortune, because the Memorian is only once in this picture and other horses does not count extra (Only if they are memorians, they will get fortune too)
