holy shit... I was reading your description and I SWEAR I heard another voice amongst the music on my speakers... a woman. I went back and played the music again, but it wasn't there...

Yeah, I know. o.O Somehow I was kind of obsessed with the image. I just kept working on it. Which definitely isn't a bad thing though >.>

Yes, Bren explained to me what it means. Though it has no relevance for the picture because the goal of the contest was to draw what came to our minds when reading the word, without knowing what it means. And since I've had an overdose of churches and ruins lately, the haunted cathedral was the first thing to pop up in front of my mental eye.
Hm? Interesting *takes notes* Now I can tell everyone that I know some words in Gaelic >.>

woah you finished it fast. And omg... that's so cool *.*
Have you been scanning at a high res, then resizing it down in photoshop? I've found that really smooths the crappiness of the scanner out a lot.

Yes, that's what I have done. Ah well, what of it. I know how much better the original looks XD
And yeah o.O It's almost scary how productive I am lately. I think I've finished more pictures these past two weeks than I did in the months before. Seems the vacation really did me good. Now to knock on wood and hope I can use that current spree to finish some of the projects that have been lying on my table for ages now. >.>

Man...this is gooorgeous. I love what you do with black cardstock *licks it* The framing of the archway puts a bit of symmetry in what would normally be a very asymmetrical piece. Of course, the combination of gray building and blue night sky is beautiful. What makes the ruins really interesting is that they're gray and not white, as if very very old and crumbling (which they are). You did an awesome job with the ghost woman - she really is very translucent...I love her eyes *___*
