Yeah he and Yuuki belong together. But Yuuki and Kaname make a good couple too... sigh... Hard one that.

Maybe it's the selfishness? I dunno, he's emo and seems a bit selfish in that he's mostly just thinking about himself and his own needs and his own ideals, also he's a very dark character with the revenge and all. That might be what puts you off a bit?
But I take all that in stride, because of his childhood. He's very much a Sasuke-like character for me: a sad character that needs saving
