sakura has a weak smell indeed
but go shooting at a time when they start to bloom and after the rain
you will feel the smell then
delicate, fresh and soft
here they are in full bloom so I guess the smell is hard to sense

now there is plum season in Japan
they also bloom very beautifully
you should take some photos of them also

I didn't feel smell.
I think cherry blossom smell is weak.

i used to go Jp at Shizuoka-ken in April 2008
i thoght sakura have smell
but no any..
i only want to know how the others....
