i never thought i would see her wearing pink. maybe a midnight blue or dark crimson red but never pink.

No. It just surprised me lol
with her dark personality however... i thought there would be clothing with colors like... a deep violet or lavender purple, royal blue, dark red, dark blue, brown, silver, and other dark colirs.

Well , to be honest when I posted it I was feeling a bit down ( I still ) that's why I didn't explain many things on the description , this is actually the second attempt , the first one was accidentally stained with marker ink ... on her face and when it was practically finished ...
I had no choice but to start it again and as I don't have a black marker right now Β ( the first original idea for this dress was to be black and grey ) ... I had to use another color , I thought about purple but it takes more time to give the contrast effect between the black pen and the purple marker , I don't know if I explained well myself

... I found a Mary Sue test , I applied it to Akiyume and the result was horrible
It says that if I base my OC's on myself is a Mary Sue , but in my opinion this make them more realistic , it says that if she has a tragic story she is a Mary Sue , if she has a mental disorder she is a Mary sue , and I could keep mentioning more and more characteristics that make her a Mary Sue ...
Akiyume has many flaws and really few virtues , she is weak , she has no special powers or abilities , she is not a heroin ... not even an anti-heroin ... and she got a horrible result on the test ... please be honest or else I won't be able to improve ... do you think that she is a "Mary Sue" ?

You know something my friend - I pay no heed to such "labels". Let others "Mary Sue" something to death if they want to waste their own time - my response would be "I'm sorry, I wasn't listening."Β
I don't know who it was who had so much spare time on their hands that they felt the need to create such a ludicrous barometer of a character's value. ALL of our characters are based off of ourselves, to a greater or lesser degree. There's at least a little bit of each of us in everything we do, right?
So no worries - you just keep on being the great artist you are. I would turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to the "nay-sayers" of the world - you'll live a happier life.

I still feel badly for Akiyume, besides. I'm not sure what it is - I guess it's the feeling that she was "damned at birth" or something; she didn't really have a real choice to be who she wanted to be...

I have already lost many friends , sometimes I don't know why I am still here , you told me once that online friends are not the same as in real life , this is a place where everyone comes for fun , not to hear someone like me complaining , everyone has friends and people they really care in real life , I am nothing but a backup " PEN friend " ... If I had anything to do with the way you feel now, I am truly sorry. I strive to bring out the best in others, not drive them to depression. I myself am a sufferer. I understand the nature of mental anguish - when I get down, I get WAY down - into a deep, dark place.Β
And I certainly didn't mean to "belittle" you by referring to you as an "online friend" or a "PEN friend". You are a HUMAN BEING, with feelings and emotions - deserving of respect like any of us.Β
And please...STOP saying that you're "nothing". You are FAR MORE IMPORTANT to others than that - and you owe it to yourself as a talented artist. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to be convinced otherwise. You have shown me, time and again, that you are a very thoughtful, kind, talented and imaginative person.
