Personality: Devilborn is cold and ruthless, preferring to kill and forget rather than let anyone who could do future harm off scot-free. There's not much else that needs to be said on the matter, however. He just does his own thing, stalks the night and beats to a bloody pulp anyone who gets in his way.

-Despite his seeming confidence and remorseless nature in battle, he greatly fears the Night Sentinels and the Doom Slayer.
-Can be harmed by his own brand of Necroplasm Magic.
-Can be sealed away by various Magic Curses.
-Can be harmed by Holy Weaponry forged in Heaven.
-Can only truly be killed via decapitation.

Trivia:
-While Devilborn's DNA Source is Al Simmons, thus making him technically somewhat human, Hellspawns count as their own species and can come from any being sent to Hell.
--AJ scanned Al's DNA when he was accidentally brought into a Mortal Kombat tournament in order to fight by both Kronika and Shao Kahn, in which AJ successfully defeated both, killed Shao Kahn and went home.
-Much like Al, Devilborn has an extreme hatred towards Clowns, and isn't one for a good joke or laugh, in stark contrast to AJ's normal nature as a jokester.
-Hellspawns share an intense rivalry with other Demons, including Spirits of Vengeance like Ghost Rider and Soul Blaze.
--However, much like Soul Blaze, Devilborn can potentially be controlled by 77 Chara, making him much more violent and unstable than before.
