Here is Matchbox Twenty, an American rock band formed in 1995. Some of their hit songs include "If You're Gone", "Back 2 Good", "Real World", and "Unwell". Their lead singer, Rob Thomas, has also had his own solo career (releasing songs such as "Lonely No More" and "This Is How a Heart Breaks"), and in 1999, he was even featured on the Santana song "Smooth".
