It was a 14-35mm zoom lense on a(n Olympus) digital SLR with a 2.0x multiplier, so it's the 35mm equivalent of a 28-70mm zoom lense. The lense was, however, zoomed all the way out to the max 14/28mm setting, effectively playing the part of a fairly wide angle lense. I suppose the angle, and the rest of the story is that the camera was on a tripod that was lashed to the top of an 8-foot ladder and pointing directly down out me with the shutter being activated remotely.
