depending on if your still in warranty, call up xbox and bitch them out and they'll ask for a few numbers on the console and from there you'll find out if your under warranty or what...

Actually I found out that one red flashing light means major hardware failure or system error. Either way, it's not good.
Oh well I sent it to repairs about a weeks ago and I should get it back in like 2 more weeks or so.

I love xbox but microsoft is a b**ch
The first time I had the red ring of death I went and got a new xbox with my gamestop warranty.
My second xbox decided to start scratching my games. Microsoft wouldn't replace them and said it would take 6-8 weeks to fix my xbox. And if they couldn't they just wouldn't send it back to me.
Gamestop in the end just gave me another one but stopped giving warranty's for the xbox 360 :/
I hope nothing happens to my third one.
