Description
For the contest, I'll upload specifics and a diagram on what the beast looks like up close when my computer stops acting like a dooky machine.Materials:
broken Magic Eight Ball
Giant rubber band
Decorative curtain rod ends
Blender
Padlocks
Metal file basket

This beast hides in the junkyard and leaves useful things like tools near the entrance to it's "tank" when something wanders by it shoots out like a cannon ball and attacks. It has a long body like a centipede with one long claw like arm for grabbing.
Font is a free font called Times New Yorker by GRAFFILIA FETÉN provided at dafont.com
Didn't make the finals, oh well.

Wow, that's awesome! I totally feel like a ripoff now, since I did a centipede-creature too (in fact, it's shtick was that it scavenged bits and pieces from the environment to survive).
Seriously though, on a scale of 1 to 10 that is a FAWESOME.

Hey, I felt like a bit of a rip off when I did this because I posted it before I saw the movie. I felt like I'd ripped off the cobra beast.
Thank you so much for the kind comment, a centipede monster would be frakin creepy and perfect for the film. All those legs, you and I both thought of a cool idea. I'd love for there to be a centipede bug monster or a praying mantis monster in the film. That would be cool.

Dude, I just got back from seeing it. It is very good. I'm buying it when it comes out on video. My favorites are 3 and 4, I had no idea when I drew this that I'd like them best of all. I just picked them because I think they have the best look besides 7.
