I LOVE it! I was confused for a second, but I slowly began to understand what's going on. Usually that would be a criticism, but this picture is like a dream remembered in reverse. Love the sepia tones on the inside, love the bubble window, love everything! I like the jellyfish pouring over the baby skeleton. Run wild...

My Mom always just told me to be sure I cleaned up the mess afterward.
That explains a lot I suppose.
I love the way you captured the concept of the world of imagination forcing its way into reality, the split-reality separated by an malleable and fragile barrier.
The sepia tones on the realist side and the pastel colors of the dream realm side are both excellently done, and the way the shadows of the jellyfish and other creatures play across the "real" side of the room is very cool.

Moms are great that way, as long as you dont leave a mess for them to clean they dont care. Once that barrier between imagination and reality gets crossed it creates one hell of a mess. X)
And thanks, i was worried that the colors would be too distracting, tried to make them balanced.
I always enjoyed themes were the fantasy world starts to seep into the real world.

What a powerful piece, you should make this a print, I'd get one!!! It's a really fascinating image to look at and I especially love the little skeleton hanging onto the edge of the window

Technology and nature is something i didn't even notice, ahaha XD.
I have been tossing around the idea of making this piece and my "Parade" [link] piece a print. I just need to decide on what sizes are best and the prices.

No, its actually a mexican axolotl salamander...that "poops" jellyfish from under its jaw.
