I REALLY REALLY REALLY hope I get this guy, he's so pretty <3 I wanted to try for number 3 but... neh, I'm a sucker for natural horses! Anyways, this is Comatose.

Personality: Comatose is a sweet horse. He's very into nature and enjoys being by himself to think about things and to discover things. Coma is very adventurous and loves to push the limits on danger. He'd be the first one to volunteer for life threatening antics. Coma can be very docile though, most of the time you'll find him just standing and observing. At times he's even lazy though he does have the ability to be very highstrung and stubborn. Coma has a soft spot in his heart for foals and usually likes to take care of them and teach them things though he's never gone as far as having foals of his own or adopting a foal. Most of the time he's just a babysitter. Coma hates being made fun of and when it comes to insults he can have a rather short fuse. Though not the best fighter, he makes up for it with his quick thinking and dancers movements. You can't hit what you can't catch. Coma isn't very trusting and it usually takes some proding to get him to open up and talk about himself.

History:
Winter was coming to a close, snow was starting to melt and grass was finally revealing itself. The herd was very ansy and eagerly awaiting spring and in all the excitement, it caused the lead mare to go into labor a few weeks early. Her labor was short but difficult, the little tan foal had breached and come out backwords. When he finally came into the world, the whole herd gathered around, awaiting the cries of the newborn but no sounds came. The foal didn't move, it laid lifeless upon the ground. Shivette attempted to stir him, gentely grooming his sides with her muzzle and pushing his face with careful movements. After a few minutes the herd left the mother to grieve and it wasn't until they had all gone when the little foal opened one of his golden eyes. His little sides slowly starting to rise. Shivette was overjoyed that her foal was actually alive and she neighed to Blacksky to come over. The stud smirked to himself, "Little trickster." he muttered and poked the foal with his nose. Shivette smirked, "Maybe he was in a coma or something?" she asked jokingly. Blacksky was silent for a moment before shrugging, "That's what we'll name him then. Comatose." He said and ended it there, walking off again. Shivette wasn't to happy with the foals new name but atleast he was alive and that's all that mattered.

As Comatose grew older, he began to show signs of being a connection between the herd and other species. At times, his mother would find him speaking to a deer or a rabbit, even a fox and a falcon at one point. Comatose had begun to slowly creep away from the herd and take comfort with the animals of the forest they lived in. He became friends with a small cardinal he called Sed. Coma was soon a young stallion and Blacksky suggested he begin taking things more serious and looking for a herd of his own, he was very angerd by the fact that Coma didn't want to own a herd and that he would rather be useful than a lead stallion. This resulted in many arguements and eventually, Comatose was shunned for his ways of thinking, that horses and other animals could co-exsist and live together instead of living with just the herd. Blacksky was nearing the age of 14 when Coma was only 2. He became more persistant with age, demanding Coma take over the herd and in his rage, he killed Sed, Coma's bird. In blind fury, Coma fought his father and cursed his name, saying he wished for his father to be killed and he wouldn't give him the satisfaction of doing it himself. Blacksky disappeared that night and was never seen again, Comatose was banished from the herd in fear that he was posessed and had killed Blacksky.

Comatose now lives by himself, going from herd to herd to learn and to find where he belongs. Recently he's started taking a small intrest in mares and seeing them for more than just annoying fillies.
