This is a prime example of composition at its finest. The left, right, and bottom are all framed into a rectangle. The center piece is either the light or the trees, but I truly believe it's a little of both. The trees in the background are very linear yet due to them being trees the linearity is very subtle. Then there's the light... How the light worked out to be at about seventy degrees is seemingly magical and pulls the entire piece together since its an actual element of the photograph at least as much a part of the centerpiece as the trees themselves!
Masterful example of geometry in nature (I'm a mathematician and artist).

Even though I had commented on this photo earlier, I find myself returning to look at it over and over. The simple fact is I am totally captivated by this photo, and feel the need to comment further.
The first thing is the blend of colors going from rich bronzes to tans, yellows and golds. Not to mention some subtle reds mixed into the darker tones. These color and the way they are mixing around the dark silhouettes of the trees forms a magical feel. One could almost expect to see a beautiful mythical creature strole across the scene.
The second observation is the depth of the image. The way the image goes from dark and gets lighter as your gaze follows the path, draws you into the picture. The sunbeams shining through the mist also add to the depth as it washes out sections of the image more and more densly the farther your eye goes into the image. Nothing in this is in any way jarring to the senses and creates a very tranquil place for the mind to wander.
A trully masterful composition, one to be proud of. Great job.

Another beautiful work. The scene is set brilliantly so that the brightness of the sunlight really contrasts the dark, earthy colours of the trees and undergrowth, giving the photo a surreal, almost dream-like feeling. I feel like there should be mythical creatures grazing somewhere. The sharpness of the leaves contrasts with the haze on the trunks in a way that draws my view into the distance, through the shafts of light. If you would like a slightly more realistic feel to it, I suggest playing around with the contrast, sharpness, and gamma, just so the sunlight looks more natural when it hits the treeline. All in all, a very well done piece.

I love the glow of the photo, the only thing that keeps drawing my eye, and I'm not sure if it is good or bad yet, is the color saturation in the leaves. The combination of intense light and darkness is very appealing to the eye. While, I myself, do not partake in the art of photography, this photo/wallpaper is very appealing. Maybe think about playing around with the saturation more, make it a bit more subtle to capture the intensity of the light in the trees. To me, the saturation in the leaves keeps drawing my eye upwards in the photo, but if that is the intention, then well done.
