i don't have SAI, but Corel Painter Essential 4. But you must have a brush who looks like the one a used. On mine, it's in the watercolor brushes, called''wash''. =_= sorry if i'm not of any use, i really don't know if you have it on SAI. As for the settings, there aren't any, i just did the lineart with the pencil on Corel and colored with the watercolor brush. I liked it because it doesn't erase my lines and i don't have to redraw them again *is soo lazy*

Oh, and i should say it...THX a lot for the scanlations! I you didn't, i would probably never have read Vampire Knight and fallen in love with the serie! Now i have the books at home too, so i can fangirl this manga even more!

Ah, that explains why it looked like the SAI watercolor but was different. *couldn't place it*
SAI has a few different watercolor brushes, and you can get a "nijimi" effect by tweaking the settings. (Not sure how to say nijimi in English. XD;;;; *sudden vocabulary fail* But it's what makes it more messy, in a pretty watercolory way. XD *lol*)

(I'm pathetic; I actually got the program with a printer or a scanner at some point, but can't figure it out. 8D;;;; *needs to get a moment sometime to actually sit down and try using it for a bit* ; I just love SAI and PS too much and end up neglecting other lovely software. XD; *also has a ComicStudio gathering dust never being used* XD;; )

don't worry with the vocabulary fail, i'm not english speaking so i totally understand it when you can't find the right word in english.

ah, and i must say that i like your fanfics too!!
I used to hate Kaname, but when i read your yaoi story (i ended up reading them anyway because of Zero), i suddenly understood him better. I read the manga again and now i stopped hating Yume and started just loving Zeki ( you're right, bashing can be really annoying)

I tried today and made a custom brush setting for SAI that replicates it! *is happily playing with it*
So now I'll probably wait even longer before trying to figure out Painter. XD;;; *fail*


Aw, YAY! I'm so happy that my fanfiction could have a positive effect on character views~! (Which of the fics was it? )
I love all three of them (especially Zero x Kaname 8D), so I'm always saddened when people bring hatred and bashing into fandom. ^^' It's much happier with us focusing on what we love and not on dislikes.

AS for your fanfictions, I read almost all of the ones with Zero in it...but no KanameXyuuki ones (; i just can't..)

I might do some pic with Kaname and Zero ( not KanamexZero because i'm not comfortable enough to draw a yaoi fanart but at least in friendly term)
