What is thisWhy did I do it
And yes this is one of the earliest depictions of sirens, they did not become more mermaidish (or even have female chests at all!) until into the Roman period. I may have made them a little more chubby and pigeon-like than in the ancient depictions, haha.

Apparently the sirens didn't even eat any sailors that happened to survive to join them on their island, the sailors just wasted away because the sirens were birdladies and thus could not properly feed them (and their magic made the guys not want to leave).
Poor, poor sirens...
