Now, back to our regularly scheduled program with the minor, and partially minor characters.

1. Baragon as Cliffjumper: Probably not everyone's first choice, but it makes sense in a matter of perspective. Both are red, fearsome, stubborn, quirky fighters, are the smallest of their team, and are horned. Yet they have one other thing in common: both have died at least once in Transformers history so far as I know. Cliffjumper lost his life to Starscream, while Baragon lost his to GMK Godzilla. But unlike CJ, Baragon actually went down fighting. Either way, I think he'd give the muscle care proper justice for his role.

2. Major Anthony Hicks as Special Agent William Fowler: Not sure if there's much to explain here. Both are military, and in a sense Hicks is a government liason between HEAT, and Godzilla. In this case, it's for the entirety of the Earth Defenders. Both of them are kinda grumpy, and have the attitude of someone tired of his job. BUT...... when the cards are all on the table, he stands by his comrades. Just like Fowler, Hicks is a tough old soldier who is willing to give the likes of Godzilla a chance, and believe in them. He'd give his life for others, and expects little in return. Could anyone else be more fitting for Fowler's role?

3. Elsie Champman as June Darby: This might seem odd, but I think it works. Elsie is good as a Xenobiologist, and is the reason Godzilla survived more than his fair share of toxic threats. So for this AU, she'd be an excellent Doctor AND Veternarian, partly inspired by Lion-O aka Jack Darby. Remember what I said about the possibility of her in this AU having a one night stand with a Mysterian, who would pass for a Thunderian lion? Well, let's just say Elsie would be the reson Lion-O-Jack looks more human than animal - and why he's an indefinite redhead. There are other reasons I could name, but I honestly do believe Dr. Chapman would serve as an excellent June Darby for this AU.

4. Showa Megalon as Skyquake: Yes, Megalon is Skyquake, but with a twist. He's portrayed by the SHOWA incarnation, while we have another Megalon as his brother, Dreadwing. One who is less of a brute than Skyquake and Megalon Showa are. Though the one thing that makes them special is their sense of loyalty. Something always rare among the Decepticons....and for good reason.

5. King Caesar as Wheeljack: Yes, I know King Caesar may not have been anyone's first choice, since we all like to present him as a "Master Splinter" character. But honestly? When looking back, he strikes me as a chaotic good, like TFP Wheeljack. Someone who fights the enemy, but only really responds to his own authority. A sort of renegade force for good who prefers to work solo, but isn't afraid to work with others. That's what the Showa KC reminds me of, anyway. And besides, who wouldn't want to hear Wheeljack's voice coming out of King Caesar's mouth?

6. Alan Jonah as Silas: No explanations here: Alan Jonah is eco-terrorist supreme of the kaiju world, as Silas is the techno-terrorist supreme of the Transformers Prime world. Both men who have no qualms about killing anyone, and who believe the needs of humanity are outweighed by the greater good. Just an excuse to condone their own villainous acts. But both are fun, and interesting. And yet I also thought people would enjoy the thought of Jonah getting the same treatment Silas did. I can be twisted like that sometimes.

7. Jean Grey as Female Love Interest: That only appears a few times, and adds nothing to the plot, and thus a choice of character isn't really a factor.

8. Lance Alvers as Bully: Because like the girl, he contributes nothing, and we only see him in two episodes, so he isn't worth talking about.
