Basically another world where humans, and animals - even kaiju, as you can see, share the same world in a Cats Don't Dance, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Pokemon, Digimon and Bojack Horseman kinda setting, to name a few. There's probably more, but I can't think of any right now. So these will have to do. And these are who I think......or who I would pick, to play the role of these specific characters.

Godzilla Junior (Kuronigoji) as Shiro (I always believe that Jr would be a more mature, leveled, noble-hearted, yet equally fearsome fighter who is as capable of leading others as he is protecting the innocent. And being an orphan adopted by a human mother and a Gojiran not related to him, he easily sympathizes and understands Zilla jr more than anyone. And would be ideal for being the surrogate kaiju father, if not older brother or lover as they are in the Kuronigojiverse. And Goji jr's very sweetheart like Shiro, and strong in heart, soul, body and spirit.)

Zilla jr as Keith (Then again, if anyone rivals Godzilla jr in any of those things, it would be Zilla jr, who has every right to be considered a Godzilla (Not gojiran since that's a species). I've always noted that like Keith, Zilla can be rather brash, and hot tempered. More eager to win the fight and get the job done as soon as possible, but unwittingly forgetting the important facts. But......he has courage, bravery, loyalty and devotion that not many kaiju can be seen having. And I think he'd have plenty in common with Goji jr that he would indeed look up to him in the same way Keith does for Shiro. And I would like the idea of him being hesitant to succeed Goji as the Head of Voltron/King of the Monsters because he doesn't feel like he could ever measure up to Godzilla as a whole ( a nod to those who still give both Zilla, and even have the balls to give Jr a hard time) out of self-doubt, and low self-esteem. But he has the makings of an incredible Godzilla, and is more than worthy to be a leader of either The Paladins of Voltron, in this series, or leader of the Earth Defenders. Either one works, I think.)

Rodan as Lance (Now I think we can all agree this one's a good fit for a number of reasons, including the fact Rodan is kind of a jerk to others, but is a reliable friend when his friends need him. He has a similar air as Lance does with the whole "Han Solo" archtype depending on the circumstances. But he would certainly work as Zilla jr's rival, and best friend. Not to mention, make a MonsterIslandBuddies reference with the romance between him, and the Allura of this list, Mothra.)

Manda as Pidge (to help make the twist of her gender reveal work well, since i'm sure there was a male and female Manda in toho at differing points. Though I have no doubt in my mind that Manda could be the brains of the team. After all, Eastern Dragons are said to possess a great deal of wisdom - so why not add some tech smarts to the mix, and make it more fun?)

Anguirus as Hunk (As sweet, and lovable but can be quite the ferocious badass when his friends are threatened, or others he cares for are threatened - not much to really say besides that.)

Mothra (Legendary) as Princess Allura (Do I really need to say anything? Both have the maternal nature, the warrior princess, and the heart and soul of the team thing going. Add in the part where Mothra's kind in its diversity can be suitable for the Altean position. And it would be a nice MIB nod to that universe's Mothra and Rodan romance turned marriage when Allura Mothra and Lance Rodan get close in the span of the series.)

Jet Jaguar as Coran (I know I might catch some flak for this, but that's fine: because I genuinely believe Jet Jaguar would make a terrific Coran. And no, not because of his silly appearance, either. He just has that same appeal as the Altean specialist that gives him this charisma, wit, and comedic sense of humor that makes him both wise and hilarious. The bonus would be that he'd be more kick-ass with JJ playing as him. Kinda like I believe Coran was in the old days. An advanced model of Mosuran tech designed to serve the royal family as its closest friend, trusted ally, and a great asset in times of danger. Even if he might have gotten his processors a bit jumbly from centuries in hyper sleep, Jet Jaguar Coran still has plenty to offer The Princess, and The Paladins of Voltrons in order to vanquish the Mon'Zeroneon Empire *a reference to Ghidorah's nickname "Monster Zero*, and a method of giving a more precise name for his race and world*.)

Lord Novus Ghidorah the Planet Eater(one of my personal depictions) as Emperor Zarkon (Come now, who didn't see this coming? Though the original Voltron series up until that..........poor version that came around before VLD, pegged Prince Lotor as the archenemy of the Paladins, his father was made into a greater threat than the original, and more than worthy of the fear, and notoriety of his dominance over the universe. He even harvests the lifeforces of entire worlds to fuel himself, and his empire's power: and Quintessence is easy to get addicted to, and is a good and bad thing where too much leads to corruption - and when he died as the first Black Paladin, he was resurrected into a chaotic evil with a singular mindset almost akin to an undead force: and that was his dark desires fulfilled, and his inhibitions removed to do as he pleases. The same concept can be used for Ghidorah in how he was also once a force for good, before he did something he shouldn't, and it turned him into a monster who threatens and terrorizes the universe simply because he can. And he would have his own army of alien forces, with the FW Gigans being the bulk of it. For this telling of the story, however, Novus' corruption and betrayal run deeper than anyone knows: for his actions are also dictated by the Elder Being who controls him. A God of the Void who sensed one of his descendants connected to the Quintessence Field's positive and negative output, but didn't survive the intake. Such a being should be an ideal vessel to use to hasten The Planet Eater's emergence into this universe, no? Even others who have Quintessence flowing through them, but are influenced by evil, would indeed be ideal pawns in a game noone knows is being played.)

Battra as Haggar (You MIGHT have seen this coming. But given that Mothra is playing Allura, and Haggar was revealed to not only be Zarkon's wife, and Lotor's mother......but most importantly that she is corrupted Altean. And Battra itself looks like a Mothra who fell to evil, and became on the outside what the evil inside looked like. This would also be a reference to the Monsterverse, where Godzilla and Mothra are in a controversial relationship that still leaves them titled King AND Queen of the Monsters, how poetic would it be if Ghidorah had his own Mothra queen to rule by his side? And I guess it would also make Haggar Battra "Hornerva" the final enemy for our heroes to contend with who becomes the final key to breaking the walls between reality, and allowing The Void King to enter and begin to destroy everything - all while revealing he was responsible for everything: even using Hornerva Battra's genuine but corrupted desire to reunite with her family to set him free. And in the end, it would take a great sacrifice from even our Sorcerer/ess Moth, and our dear Princess to end the threat forever. At least in the end, they would be reunited with their families.)
