Description
I spent a good long time trying to figure out what kind of creature could properly represent Depression. At first, I tried to make it some kind of massive planet devouring creature, which required a joint force of characters to take down, but it didn't quite fit. That's when I remembered a type of parasitic worm that took control of the bodies of grasshoppers or crickets, feasting on their insides, before causing them to kill themselves by jumping into large bodies of water. I did a bit of research on other parasitic mind control creatures and found that it was the perfect thing to base my depression monster on.
