History:
Before The Ferox
-Zihark was brought to Rome as a gift for the birthday of the princess of Rome. He was found abandoned by his mother and taken in and raised by Bounty Hunters that lived in Rome. Once the princess turned 12, he was given to her as a companion and loved being raised by humans. He and the princess grew up together and were never far from one another and when the princess would sneak out, he was the one that would cover for her until she could get back in her room(he made people go on a wild goose chase just trying to understand what he was trying to tell them). At a year old, Zihark would go out in the town with the princess as her protector along with a few of her body guards. Eventually, the king brought a blacksmith to the palace and had armor crafted for the Lynx for when he would go out to town to help keep himself protected, and intimidate anyone who would dare hurt the princess when she was out.

-Zihark had few other feline friends in the castle and through them, and gossip on the town, he heard about the cats living free in the wild. "Foolish creatures they are. What could be better than living with the humans?" he always thought. Despite Zihark living with the humans, he knew how to survive on his own. Living the dream, he thought he would die in the palace, until one day, when a prince came to court the princess. The princess met the prince for the first time, and Zihark did not take a liking to the boy. Whenever he could, Zihark would try to keep the prince as far away from his princess as he could(of course trying to intimidate him by wearing his armor) feeling like he needed to protect her. That prince just didn't seem as innocent as he looked. And Zihark was right. Early one morning when the princess was playing with Zihark, he ran off into the bushes chasing the toy and heard his girl scream; but it was muffled. Looking out from the bushes, he saw the prince trying to rape the princess. "Protect!" he thought and attacked the prince. finally, guards came out and saw the prince holding his arm. Zihark had bitten and scratched him, and he stood in front of his terrified princess growling. He was a soldier ready to defend his princess. She kneeled down and cuddled her lifelong friend, seeking comfort. The king saw what Zihark did, and believed the prince over his own daughter and told the guards to kill Zihark. "How could they turn on me?!" he thought and ran from the palace. Scared, confused, and worried for his princess, it was obvious Zihark was not wanted anymore and ran to find those he put down earlier: the wild cats.

-Zihark eventually was known for attacking palace guards as he tried to escape the city into the wild, hating the ones he would risk his life for who tried to kill him. The only one he was never going to forget, was his princess. Eventually he found the cats living in the wild and decided to devote himself to the Ferox, vowing to never let the humans into his life again, and refusing to go back to them in fear that he may be killed or captured by the Bounty Hunters.
Time In The Ferox
-Zihark had become the Head Gatherer of the Ferox when he joined. As the only Gatherer, he had to do all the work for them, making him become one of the cats that knew the territory the best. He usually helped out the Anecdotists the most as they needed the most help. He had become quite the reliable lad in the wild cats.

-Gradually as more and more cats joined, he had gained another Gatherer, making them two. He spent a lot of time with Polemos to teach him everything he knew about being a Gatherer. But after the ambush with the Bounty Hunters, Zihark had never been the same. He had become jumpy, nervous, worried about everything as he never knew what was around every bush. He had lost Zale to the Hunters and wanted to break him out but he couldn't because he didn't want to risk more cats to the Hunters. Every day he tries to come up with a plan to get his friend, and brother, back.

-Because of his nerves going off the charts, Zihark had begun to spend more time with Flora as she could read him the best out of everyone he knew. She would help him relax to the point where he began depending on her whenever his worries got out of hand. Eventually...he had fallen in love with her.

-With the Olum infiltrating the territory, Zihark had been on strict lookout for them because he did not want them to ambush the camp and lose more lives. He would lose sleep on this matter and as usual, Flora would be his cure to his worries.

-Being probably the best at finding his way around the City, Venator had announced that Zihark would lead a small patrol into the City to see what the Hunters were up to. Getting caught, Zihark became a distraction for the others in his group to escape home. He hid away with an old friend and obtained new armor from his friend's master. He returned home a few days later. He had approached Flora later the day he returned home and confessed his love to her.

"You're such a good boy Zihark," Agatha, the princess of Rome says to the year old Lynx she has had as a companion for what seemed like more than a year. The tan and white spotted cat purred and rubbed his head against the hand held out to him. "I heard Father has a surprise for you, you wanna go see what it is?" the princess asked. Zihark got a big smile on his face and began bounding around his master's legs excitedly. Agatha giggled a little and beckoned her furry friend to come follow her. The two walked into the throne room where the king sat. "Father, Zihark said he is ready for his surprise," Agatha says. The king smiled and stood from his throne, making his way over to the Lynx that stood beside his daughter. Zihark, knowing his manners, bowed his head to his highness before feeling the man pat his head. "This way you two," he says and leads them outside into what looked like a shed. Inside stood the local blacksmith that made the weapons for the royal guards.

"Are you sure you can make armor for a cat?" the king asks after seeing the blacksmith bow in the king's presence. "Yes I am sure. He will have to stay out here with me so I can take his measurements and make sure he fits the armor, as well as likes it" the man says, once again bowing as he watched the king leave. "Be good Zihark!" Agatha called to him before she followed her father out of the shed and back into the palace. Zihark stood there and watched, amazed that a man could craft something so wonderful. Arms, shoulders, length, width, anything that the blacksmith could he took measurements of from Zihark and began pounding the pieces of hot metal into forms. As each piece was finished, another part of the Lynx was covered in a thin layer of steel and leather; thin enough to be light enough for the cat to move, but thick enough to protect him. Finally, the final piece was placed on the young cat and as the blacksmith opened the door to the shed, spilling light into the darkened area, and outstepped a cat that was very changed. Zihark walked out of the shed fully clad in armor. His head held high and proudly, a helmet covered most of his fur and he seemed to have a different air about him. He looked like a general ready to lead an army into war.(425 words)

Personality:

"How could they turn on me?!"
-Zihark holds a hatred for humans because of the ones he lived with turned on him so easily. He refuses to put trust in them again and stays far away from the city as he can, only getting close to it if truly necessary. He does though, still hold a soft spot for his princess whom he believes he will never see again.

"You Bounty Hunters do not scare me"
-Zihark is brave. His bravery though could make him bite off more than he can chew, especially with Bounty Hunters and Humans.

"I will allow you to leave while you can. Stay aware of your boundaries"
-Zihark was known by his friends for his kindness. When he was younger, a stray found its way into the palace and while Zihark should have fought the cat, he let him go and masked that the cat was ever here, just in case the others would go hunt after the cat for trespassing.

"We may find ourselves on opposite sides, but I will not quarrel with you my friend"
-Zihark is very true to his friends. If he finds himself fighting against a friend who also does not want to fight, he will refuse to fight them out of the history he may have had with them.

"They are all fools to work with the humans."
-Zihark thinks the Bounty Hunters are in the wrong for working with the humans, knowing they could turn on them at any moment like his humans did with him.

"Come along children, let's get moving"
-After having to deal with many of his Gatherers on a trip around the territory, Zihark has become quite the father to them. He's a mother hen when it comes to his "babies."

-Zihark enjoys his flower crowns when he is given them. He appreciates those who make them for him and will wear them with pride no matter how silly he looks.

-Strength: For being a smaller cat, Zihark is not as strong as a lion or a tiger would be. For his size, he could be considered strong but he more uses his weight with his armor for overpower others.
-Speed Skills: Because of his armor, Zihark is not as fast as he could be, it weighs him down.
-Endurance Skills: Despite not being as fast as he could be with his armor, he has a lot of endurance because of his armor.

Fighting Style:
Zihark tends to use his armor to his advantage when fighting since he is hardly ever seen without it. His quick moves also give him an advantage over bigger opponents. Zihark will use his helmet and strength to forcefully headbutt into a vital area to either penetrate with his horns or knock the air out of his opponent. When facing and opponent his horns will often scratch and cut the opponents face. He is quite dangerous if one does not look out for his horns.

If in a desperate situation he will use all he can to play dirty to ensure his win. He will throw things at his opponent, kick rocks at them, aim for areas that most animals will avoid(eyes, paws, tail, rear end if it is not armored, etc.)
