Yuki sama and Kaname sama at a vampire ball, taking a moment to step back and observe the gathering. Reverent gazes flick past the private moment for the couple, the glowing silks and shining lacquer wood of the lounge paling in comparison to their beauty. King and Queen, they are truly the jewel of the vampire realm. The purebloods.An 08 piece (for some reason I feel the need to specify last year's work) I am forever frustrated by how slowly the final chapters are emerging, but I am somewhat sated by taking up Air Gear.
Anyhoo, the only reason I drew this was because their relationship is ridiculously paradoxical, and thus captures my attention as a storyteller and romanticist. ^.^ Vampire, human. Beautiful, plain. Brother, sister. Lovers. Ancestor, descendant. It just keeps going. Originally this was a much more intimate scene, but I couldn't resist putting Yuki in a gown, and Kaname in a cravat.
And the rug was computerized, so forgive any little slips you see in the overlap, it looks good when you're not staring at every pixel (lol). I also wanted to have a window behind the curtains, but I opted to post it a little sooner instead.
and if anyone tells you that toning is fast, they are LYING. I gave up toning this and did copics instead because it was taking SO LONG.
I want to have a life too *sobsob*
although toner grays are really fun.......

i'm very much a fan of the whole read manga online thing!! all the manga i've ever bought, were at really cheap sales that i was really lucky to find!
and yeah some translations are definitely weird, it gets very confusing when they translate it into VERY literal english from some korean(or chinese etc) scans that were probably a literal translation from the original Japanese raws

it really helps to do a gradient chart before hand so you can see how dark they are next to one another. I love the toner greys...they are neutral so they're really lovely
