The bright colors and rhythms of the work express pure joy and freedom.

The work uses variety and contrast in line, color and pattern to create complexity and chaos. And yet, by balancing this with repetition, it also conveys a pleasant overall sense of unity.

(Example)
The yellow and pink stripes on the middle/far left side, the mostly-purple, yellow and pink ripple patterns, and the overall β€œlandscape” layout of the piece add a horizontal directionality. But the diagonals, like those coming from the lower left corner, and those created by the clover-like shapes (mostly on the left side), create a quite different directionality, and so provide contrast.

These conflicting directionalities, as well as the varied colors, suggest the chaos and excitement of a crowd. And based on the title, the crowd is probably at a music festival.

In addition, some of the longer diagonals cut the piece into different sections, creating a fractured effect. This is also reminiscent of a crowd.

A sense of harmony belies the overall chaos, appearing in the repeated clover-like pattern, as well as the ripple pattern. Color repetition reinforces the harmony, as well.

Some motifs, like the color scheme and groups of clover-like shapes (mostly on the left), echo the art of the hippie movement. They are probably a visual expression of what one would hear at a music festival, embodying the psychedelic music for which hippies are famous.

I question the inclusion of the concentric circles in the upper right. Although they are mirrored below, they somehow do not seem to fit, especially with the rest of the upper section.

Although interrupted by lines, there is a sharp break between top and bottom sections of the piece. Unfortunately, most of the blue area is inactive space. Consider cropping about 2/3 of the blue area, or perhaps playing with its values to add a sense of space.

You capture the idea of the music festival perfectly. And whatever else you do with it, this is a compelling, colorful piece with a strong sense of rhythm. Take my ideas and viewpoints with a grain of salt, but I hope some of this is helpful!

Very-very good critique! That is exactly what I prefer to see even in my own critiques. From my point of view any work like this should be marked as fair even for its size and for the time that the "writer" had spent on leaving a thoughtful and detailed comment instead of a little comment where would be written only "Super", "Good" or even "Wow"! Yours is a beautiful example of an incontrovertible work/critique!
