Created by the clinically insane robotics engineer Dr. Albert W. Wily, Bass was constructed based on research conducted on Mega Man with the intention of matching his powers and abilities. He's power source is Bassinium, a radically powerful form of energy Wily had mysteriously stumbled upon. There is little information on Bassinium or it's wielder, Bass. What is known is that this is a robot not to be taken lightly, he has a fanatical obsession with becoming the most powerful robot on the planet and will not rest until the Blue Bomber's synthetic entrails are ripped from his metallic carcass.
