Description Finally finished this! Ive been working on this for awhile.

The goal here was to utilize my 2 favorite colors; Blue and Black.
I wanted to create the scene in the very beginning where Karaa discovers Sigma.
Some symbolism is intended. One of which is the inverted Eclipse seen in the background.

Anyway, I dont mind how this came out. Any critiques or suggestions would be appreciated.

Took about 5 hours in GIMP.

Is he about the get raped by those wires? Hot.

lololol
I enjoy the blurry stuff which puts more emphasis on the center =3=
But i must ask, what kind of position is he in? Sitting? Standing?

That looks great! I really like the way you utilized the foreground and background. I see 3 main layers here, and each one has something going on, without distracting one from the other.

Very well done, man. Love it.

I actually used like 9 layers on this lol. But yeah, there ARE 3 main ones, like you said. Im glad you noticed that.

Thanks bro~

Well of course I meant 3 layers of focus, not actual layers.

No probs, mangs.

I do like it, but it's a bit distracting how some things are out of focus. I know that's how it should be, as it just looks better that way, but something with it seems... off. I don't really know what. Maybe it's just because I'm too focused on the blurred details.

Huh. Interesting. Ill take that into account, and try to figure out what looks off about it.

I did try to focus on blur and zoom for this, but it was my first time, so im sure I can use some sort of improvement.

Thanks for pointing that out! : D

Ha, thanks man.
LOL.. Im sure you can do just as well. Do you have a tablet or any art programs?

I have art programs at school, along with tablets. The programs themselves are good, I don't like the tablets though, but that's just because I'm not used to doing anything else than drawing on paper. At home, my computer would propably go Chernobyl on me if I tried installing any art programs.

oh lol. Reason I ask is because im interested to see in what ways your art could go by advancing into other media.
