I like her better than Perrin.
Perrin seemed to be very controlling and cold to me.

Perfect. I always liked Amanda more than Perrin (obviously; Amanda is the best), but I loved Perrin's costumes. Hence, wonderful combination.

I'm with the previous comment: definitely Amanda and Sarek as THE couple. I know it's unreasonable to assume someone as long-lived as a Vulcan would not remarry after his human wife died, but I also must confess that the TNG episode with Perrin left me a little unsettled at the time.

Perrin appeared quite abrasive. That might have been because of Sarek's illness. But I agree, I like the original partnership the best.

As much as I love Perrin, Amanda will always remain the love of Sarek's life in my eyes, whether he admits it or not. Beautiful piece!

I simply think he didn't want to live his later life alone because her death hurt him so much. I'm sure he loved Perrin. She did look somewhat like Amanda, but I think her strength was very Amanda-like.
