Random gift art for because I just love Jenna's design and wanted to draw her <3 Coatimundi's are amazing. I needed something to practice coloring traditionally again on a standard size picture. Not my best, but at least I didn't completely lose the ability to use colored pencils lol.=Torafox rescanned it with her scanner, which did a heck of a lot better than mine haha, so here's the new version. c:

I'm not too fond of the flowers to be honest, but I suppose it's just my personal taste, maybe it's just the bright colours. They're still very well drawn though, of course! <3

I know what you mean, the scanner just... completely and utterly murdered them. It made them so overly saturated and all the nice yellow oranges turned red somehow, I was so mad that I couldn't fix that Dx I really hope I can get a new scanner for christmas that scans colors better so I can re-scan this.

Haha, I wouldn't say unimaginably beautiful, but the colors and details are better and smoother in the original xD The biggest pet peeve with traditional art for artists I believe is the scanner not scanning very well

i totally agree, it's always tragic when traditional artists spend so much time and effort perfecting their work, and then the scanner destroys it
it's always the worst with colored pencils too.

From what I know that seems correct, though I'm not entirely sure what the agua colored one at the bottom is, I found it on the google image search 'exotic flowers', and thought it was pretty and matched the colors good enough, so I added it, but sadly, it wasn't labeled. D:

Aww ;o; I feel the same way though, I almost always feel like I have to give something back when I get a gift, so I can relate, even though it's not obligatory xD And I just like giving random gifts, though I never expect anything in return. My to do list has been haunting me for so long, that I haven't been able to do gifts for people for forever, so now that it feels manageable again, I started making some gifts :'D
Maybe if possible, I can try to ship it around Christmas if you'd like the original. I feel like the scanner killed it so much, I want you to see the real one instead haha
