Description
Long overdue contest prize (2nd) for of their creation for my contest a while back. The two animals they got to fuse were sable and mudskipper, which they did a great job combining into this Sableskipper. C:I had fun working on this one. <3
Sorry it's so late, and hope you like it!
Materials: Watercolor and colored pencils (prismacolor)
Size: 8.5 x 11 cardstock

I'm in the same boat with traditional LOL Digital's faster and easier for me since all I need is the tablet, but traditional I need to have all these supplies out on the table >A>

Digital's still tougher for me |D I'd rather take my traditional stuff out and draw than fiddle with my tablet longer for something I'm less likely to like. |D I did start doing more detail on Starbuck though, it's coming out nice TuT Still has a lot of work up for it, though D;

That's awesome! I'm amazed that colors are so smooth. Gosh, I wish I had the patience to use colored pencils like that. I tend to prefer acrylics 'cause I can just slap stuff down, haha. Colored pencils are too small and tedious for me. :U

Thank you so much! Mixing watercolors with colored pencils is my favorite traditional technique, since the watercolors really help with the smoothness, and then I like adding details on top of that with the colored pencils. c: I wish I could use acrylic better, so far it's just been frustrating to me since I want to get in the details that on smaller canvases, I just haven't been able to get yet haha. xD
