Aaaaaand another! This one is painted from a rock I found outside Uni that I crushed up and made paint out of...A mortar and pestle was used to crush the material and make the βpaintβ by adding boiling water. The painting was then made by dripping each pigment onto the paper and hoping that it will drip where I want it to

I love these all, but this is probably my favorite. The texture is actually rock like, not just in the pigment, but in the heavier construction.

Yeah, gotta agree with ~hiddenrevelation ... this one's definitely my favourite. Maybe it has something to do with the realistic expression on his face. Maybe it's the surrounding marks that add interest and dimension. Maybe it's just cos it's a naked man. We'll never know.

You find a soft rock, so lets say one that will draw on pavement. then you put it in a mortar and bash the shit out of it with the pestle until its a powder. Then you put water in and mix it around until it's a paint

To messy a job. I'm lucky I get to have pencils! I understand though, she's a homemaker (nice way of saying a "stay at home" mom.) and she got nothing better than cleaning, so she gets a bit complusive about it.
