Description Portrait gift for my brother Chris when he was around 6,7 years old (his all grown up now )

Had a very grainy looking reference pic to work from for this and would post it too to show you all but i don't know if it's ok with my brother, he does have a bit of a sean penn attitude when it comes to pics..lol.. he handpicked the pic he wanted me to draw from and it was a full figured pose too not meant for a head shot closeup portrait but i loved his troublemaker expression and 70's hair-do and decided to do it anyway!

Completed with graphite/pencils on 8'5 x 11 vellum bristol board

Very cute and I bet he loved it! I did some of these gift images for my family members also. I found a baby picture of my cousin and drew it and I also found the dress that she was wearing and gave her that along with it.

She was surprised. I don't think she knew the dress still existed. She had just had a baby girl at the time so she was doubly pleased.
