I changed the title for this artworkto 'The Pirate' i liked it better-
my apologies to all of my friends
who have me on their watch who
will be getting it a second time in
their boxes
By far the most challenging portrait
i have created to date-males i think
in general are always more difficult to
draw than females but i had much creating
this...dude
A good friend of mine Jack from Florida who is
also a very talented photographer was showing
me some of his newest photos when i came
across this fellow and i was very drawn to his face he looks
like he has a story to tell, and with Jack's blessing
i decided to draw him
he definitely looks like abiker to me thats why i decided on the Harley Dude title

marvelous luminous quality in this portrait. So many of your drawings capture that glow. It's just wonderful what you did here. His eyes are like crisp crystals that just gaze deeply at you. Wonderful work Katerina!

You are very welcome. I love your work. You always seem to try to dig deep into your subjects. I was the little kid who could be sat in the corner delighted for hours as long as I had something to colour. I admit I'm addicted to colour, though if I could not have it, I'd make black and white my world. Always the optimist, I guess. But keep up the great work, that's what makes us all smile.

He looks like a biker through & through. It gives the impression that, if you were to draw him below his neck, we would see a denim jacket with the sleeves hacked off &, if he turned around, a big patch on the back with the insignia & name of the biker gang he belongs to.

I only had a face to work with but i kinda imagine his outfit the same way too
I like the Biker title too i now wonder maybe it would have been better to name him that

It is so awsome. That is realy a masterpiece. It is brilliant how the expression and the character of the old man comes out. he reminds me to an old pirat. The details of his headscarf are really impressious and the clouds...It is realy hard to draw clouds but you did. Great work. The only thing I miss a little bit structure is the beard. I know that there is one but it is realy hard to locate if he is wearing something under his dark coat or if it is the beard. I know hair and beards are difficult to draw. Besides the beard it is a really good work. I really like it. It must be a strong character you drew.
