This piece was inspired by the Conte of Monte Cristo movie.
I truly love that movie and I love that era as well.
If you wanted information to get around you had to write a letter and trust that person with it.

Well I decided on doing a envelope that is all tattered and torn.Sealed with the infamous red wax seen in those time era movies.
Along with a dark red rose,and a golden rusted key.
Like someone has sent there loved one a letter finally confessing there love but that person they gave the letter to betrayed them and never gave the letter to there loved one.
Just like the movie

The rose and envelope are handmade out of polymer clay and glazed for protection.
Only the red wax is glazed on the envelope for a realistic look.
Hung on a rustic colored chain ( 14 inches) with a beautiful black glass bead hung on the side for a classy look.
The key is made of metal.
