Meh... I am bored or something... With this piece I dont know what I think. I like some parts and hate others. Again, like my other pieces, his is more of a painting than a photo manipulation. The photo was more of a reference for the figure and shadows.I got the stock from a long long time ago. I just looked throught the gallery again but I couldn't find the same photo.... so I cannot give a link...
Anyway... enjoy and please let me know what you think. ^_^

Ooh. This looks fabulous. I love how you went for the golden autumn-y tones for this one; it really reminds me of one artist from the early 1900s (who used to focus almost exclusively on depicting images from mythology and whose name I forget) the way you used your colors. However, I'm not too sure I like the expression. It looks very... Hmm, very spooked/startled, and I don't think that exactly fits with the rest of the scenery. But the shape of the face and the shading is wonderful.
The only other nitpick I have is that the hair looks a little too stiff and unnatural, which clashes a bit with the rest of the image. But it's not a terribly big deal.

i see your point by not knowing what to think.
first off i want to say i really like how you went for yellow undertones insteand of pink for the skin. looks very natural. the face and the hands i can see have had alot of effort put into them. however it seems like the arms and hands aren't even a part of the dress. they kind of look like they're floating around. it doesn't seem like you put as much time into the dress as you did with the other parts. i think if you worked on the dress more, the awkward-ness would be relieved. i don't think the colors of the flowers go well with the rest of the coloring, they look a bit artificial.
also maybe it's your style but i think the trees in the bg should be made to look more solid, since her face and hands are.
i also really love the attention you put into the fingertips, they look beautiful.

This looks very nice. I love the mood in this picture and the colors are great. I like the lightning from the sun. Looks like either sunrise or sunset. I can't really decide, though I'm more inclined to say sunset. I love her pose. She's a very beautiful person. I like the background too, it's very soft and doesn't draw the attention away from the subject of the picture, and yet it still looks really good. The girl's facial expression is very well done. Over all, great painting!
