The facial expression has a satisfied look to it like she is expecting something good to happen soon or that she's looking forward for another good day. It's the look one might expect to see with a sun coming up; I like the effect you get combining the sun setting with the facial expression. Sometimes dusk can be in a sense the same as dawn.

Very beautiful profile! This picture is so softly shaded and I think the hair and background especially look wonderful. And the ear! I look at ears all day in my profession, so I always like when I see people draw them so well!
