Description
Since it's summer I thought I'd make a shot of Misty and Ash going for a swim.

I'm surprised there aren't a lot more pictures of Ash and Misty going for a swim. As usual I have to do everything myself.

I don't like drawing backgrounds, and I don't have any experience drawing people underwater. I color my pieces with colored pencils and markers. At first I tried coloring over the penciled in skin with a marker, but all I ended up doing was ruining the marker. So this time I colored over the target area with several different shades of blue.

I would have drawn the sand with markers, but the one tan marker I had died, I went to 4 different stores and none of them had one.

Since none of my blue markers had a good hue for the sky, I colored it yellow. I think it better emphasizes that it's a hot summer day, perfect for a swim.
