What do you mean uploading too much? Making art is a good distraction from all the crap going on in my head. So making happy art = escape :3 Also: I FINALLY GOT COPIC MARKERS yay, since my old prismas have died long ago. I am very glad I finally dumped the money because they are nice - almost like painting! (yes, that is the media here - brush pen + tech pen + copics + white gouache)
Misha being molested by a bunch of nymphs, of different types. Tried to make them all look different enough to be of different types, but keeping their general look of chubby, beautiful little ethereal ladies.
Misha is bascially a sworn virgin, and so he's obviously kinda confused and taken aback. Don't worry, they're just teasing him. :3 I'm sure that they don't meet many men like Misha; more likely they always meet satyrs or horny human men looking for an easy wife.
And never a nature hippie like Misha, with an affinity for woodlands tropical and temperate. Because we all know men can't be beautiful and natural as they are, amirite? ONLY women can have a connection with nature, or be considered beautiful.
*grumbles some stuff about culture and macho ownership of nature*dedicated to mah lvoe *lullaby-child :3

Very beautiful and I love the cool colors on your nymphs, the blue one especially stands out to me. Nice, dynamic work with a fantastic little glow around the characters.

That's really beautiful; it does look more like paint than markers. And while he may be "kinda confused and taken aback", from Misha's expression, it looks like he's enjoying himself just a little bit

This makes me crave markers even more. Not that I would be able to do masterpieces like this even if I had them, but still.

Haha, I've been working with markers for years, but most of my old ones died out... and it hasn't been until recently that I threw a bunch of money around to get some new ones! XD

Hehe, i love the chubby nymphs, and the blue one's butt is very nice! And yah, it is more stereotypical to have a woman be the earth keeper ... probably because of the whole mother thing ... but us guys have our part to play, too.

I once drew a simple almost children's drawing/cave drawing of a "god tree" which was just a giant penis creating the world with a little stick man and stick woman dancing around it as it created the sky, drawn with crayons. But it probably wouldn't be approved here being an erect penis that isn't really doing anything sexual.
But one of my hippie-feminist friends was like, "That's so male chauvanist blah blah..." and i was thinking ... ok, well, how about if i drew a big breasted goddess, you would still call me a pig for drawing a naked chick again. It was so irrelevant, you know?

what's gouache like? in comparison to acrylic or watercolour, let's say.

Gouache is an opaque watercolor - so it can go on like acrylic (and be overlayed like such) but it's water-soluble, and can be pushed around and layered like watercolor :3

anyways, first off of course: awesome colors
Yay for copics too, I'm glad you like working with them so much, and you're doing great at it. Different from how I see most people use it anyway (but then again, most of them are anime artists), more painterly and SO GLOWY, it almost looks digital (and that's something people tell me about my copic pics all the time as well).
I like the different structures of hair on everyone, the soft blue curls that are perfect for a watersprite (which I'll boldly assume the blue girl is), the green ones looks like palm leaves and so glossy, that's actually my most favourite idea here. And the white one... I have no idea what she's supposed to be, I first thought windsprite because of the white, but... the red things look like berries and make me think of some ghostly shrubthing.

Yeah, I do use them differently, lots of layering and blending, where I think for a more anime artist they would use fewer colors and simple shading, but with more sure strokes.

Wow, you're quickly becoming one of my favorite artists. I love those nymphs, especially the blue one. I love how your characters' faces all have such interesting and diverse structure. And really, one of my favorite aspects is the detail on their eyelashes. I really love that their eyelashes are colored. Might sound strange to you, but I really don't see that often in pictures, and it really is beautiful.
