That's the kind of photo I really like. Take something you see everyday and tell the world how YOU see it. I'm barely more than a beginner about photography, may I ask you how did you get the blur, I see you call it 'vaseline effect', did you apply something on your lens?

Anyway, it looks unreal, the repetitions on the stairs, the colors, the geometry...

Thank you very much; I'm glad you enjoyed it. It's always a challenge to make some every-day object and make it interesting. And yes, I applied Vaseline onto a cheap UV-filter (I wouldn't put it directly on the lens!), and this was the effect.

Thank you. I thought that perhaps, the Vaseline-effect was not only meant for plants. I found it at least equally as nice for night time scenes and lights.

well ... personally I think it is better suited to this ... soft focus flowers have been done to death ... this is much more original and that is tough to accomplish these days

Tell you what: *I've* been sick of those soft focus flowers myself, and I had been doing them only on two outings! It's too cliché to be funny... and yes, what the transparent blob does to artificial lights is much more interesting, I agree.

Nein, im Ernst, für mich waren die Blätter auch das Sahnehäubchen. So ein schöner Kontrast zu der kalten Metallwelt.
